why?... why is this good? is anyone else confused by excitement over this??!?! I do not trust 343 with this as all.

What was wrong with CEA?

It looked nice....... But there were clipping issues and, most importantly, serious lighting/tone changes. TaR, Keyes and The Library were suddenly bright happy places and the torch was no longer needed at all. Hiding on Keyes under the ship in the dark waiting for my torch to recharge so I could see the Flood was a major part of the way that level was meant to be played and 343 removed that completely. CEA wasn't terrible, but it is a massive shame that 343 didn't understand those subtle details like the lighting. I'm suspecting that h2a will be regular h2 but with brighter colours, h4 character models and a h4 multiplayer.

While I did enjoy CEA, the problem was that the 2011 graphics didn't perfectly match up to the 2001 graphics, so places where you think you should be able to go are unreachable, and places that you think are unreachable are reachable (There's a non-solid wall in the Library for example)

It is like remaking "the goonies"... or covering the song "stairway to heaven"... just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Just because someone asks for something doesn't make it right to give it to them... very VERY few remakes give the original justice. Why risk messing up something that is perfect? Rhetorical question... the answer is money.

Lots of people wanted a CEA. Even more want a H2A. If it is made, the fans get what they want, Microsoft get plenty of $$$ and 343i may get a bit of their fan base back. What is there to lose from making it?

Remaking a song, game, album, or movie almost always diminishes the original. Oh, don't you worry... 343 is going to Milk the shit out of halo, you will get your H2A, H5, H6, H3A, cell phone games, spin-offs, movies, web series, toys, books, comics, etc etc etc etc etc. Lol, I am not trying to argue with you... for me, it just sucks to know that they will milk this award winning cow that started from a small humble company until it is old and worthless, then throw it out and buy up the next big thing... Microsoft. Seriously look up why Bill Watterson stopped making Calvin and Hobbes, I know it sounds a little off subject... but it is an amazing article and it really puts into perspective how things are overdone due to the pressure of fans/money.
