Is it me or are other players in Titanfall morons?
They run into buildings blindly. Not checking corners. Not making sure the area is clear. Running on top of buildings without cloak or stim so they have less of a chance of getting spotted or shot at.
I was playing Last Titan Standing on... Odyssey I think? My titan got destroyed so I ejected and I landed behind 2 enemy titans with no way out. So I figure I'll take out my rocket launcher and try to inflict as much damage as I can to them before they kill me. I FIRE FOUR ROCKETS INTO ONE OF THEM. The guy even deploys his shield IN FRONT OF HIM and still doesn't turn around to shoot me. His titan explodes. And I kill him.
I get so many rage messages because I play smart. I hide behind corners. I'll change camping spots when I'm hiding near a hardpoint. They REFUSE to change their strategy to try to take me down because that's how the MMS audience is now. Shoot first, think later.

I don't know if it's just me but when I travel through the map I to never go on the ground or roofs, but instead wall run and try to stay in the middle (by which i mean not to close to the ground and not to close to the roof). Whenever i go to make a kill i can easily drop down or go up.

I was watching a Twitch broadcast last night that consisted of one guy, in his Titan, spinning in circles whilst just blowing off rounds from his weapon. He'd die. Then laugh as his teammates raged. What a classy guy...

At least you get matched with morons. I get matched with people that look at you funny and you die. No joke, got sniped by a plasma cannon from all the way across the map. The guy couldn't even see me he just fired a random shot and got me. "Dude, there might be a pilot somewhere over there, think I'll take a random shot at that building... Oh cool!"

It's always that way for my teammates but the other team manages to be organized. I was playing CTF and grabbed the flag 3 times but none of my teammates would help me capture it. I would always get about halfway and then die since no one was helping. I was raging by the end of it.

2 RepliesIt's probably because they're swapping from COD to Titanfall. COD players don't look for cover because you're doomed either way, COD players don't sneak up on you because the maps aren't designed for it, and COD players only care about kills not the objective. Titanfall however has large open maps with lots of cover. To be honest Titsnfall was not meant for the COD community whatsoever.

I don't think people realize how to play hard point. As someone else said it's annoying to have to do all the work only to find the other team is working together while yours is off in a small building somewhere camping.

3 RepliesIt seems to me like my teamates are always the morons. I'll always be doing really well but my team will always lose. Or I'll be the only one capturing/protecting the points in Hardpoint. Very annoying...

They are. I don't own Titanfall, but I've been watching match after match on Twitch through my One. Ummm... about the best I can say is that they're idiots, and that my other thread was right, the squeakers and the trolls did migrate off of Battlefield 4 and Forza 5 to go to the new shooter on the block. Since Titanfall launched, I've noticed a sharp up-tick in the quality of opponent in BF4 and F5. It's been great! Then to watch the Twitch broadcasts and see how [i]really[/i] stupid these guys are... yeah, it makes me happy! lol

They are, especially in ctf and hardpoint. NOBODY defends in hardpoint, even when we could easily win. Instead i'm defending one point and the other two consistently get captured as I see my entire team run to the onlly one we don't have and leave one of the points we have open. I don't think people understand that you only need two points to win. In ctf people don't defend, but the worst thing is that I play as the stryder and basically carry the flag runner across the map. Me and my friend were doing it and basically won the game for us, but whenever someone else got the flag we wanted to facepalm. I'd stand next to them and crouch to show them to jump on, instead they'd either run into the enemy on foot and die or jump on a -blam!-ing autotitan and just watch it walk around randomly facing enemies head on... AN AUTOTITAN!
