I've been picking up on several hints that the Raids in Destiny will not be easy by any means. Below are reasons why: 1. This week's mail sack Deej stated that he will need to be convinced first hand for those who claim to be one of the first to beat a raid. 2. During Bungie's Pentathlon, they stated that one of the challenges was a Raid in Destiny, which kicked their butts. 3. Bungie liked the idea of how Dark Soul's game play was very difficult and that they had to collectively share ideas on how to defeat certain parts of the game. I like the idea that raids will be difficult because it will help draw the community together to share ideas and formulate strategies. I just hope Bungie gives Raids enough balance that with the right strategy and good execution, most decent players can beat it rather than a select few with MLG (major league gaming) skills. I have no problem raids taking several weeks to beat (getting geared up and finding strategy), but several months can turn the average player off.
