Does anyone else think that Call of Duty Ghosts sucks?
I do. I'm really sad, too. I was really, really looking forward to it. At first I was like, "Well this is okay." But now I'm like, "This sucks smelly donkey butt." So really I am disappointed in the game, because Black Ops II was great for the first 9 months until somebody pointed out the overt lag compensation and head-glitching to me. Anyway, I wished that Call of Duty Ghosts had been good because of the fact that Black Ops II was really, really good and the launch of the Xbox One reveal showed Call of Duty Ghosts and I was all like, "Holy crap, this looks really, really good."
And at first, I was like "this is okay." But now I'm starting to think that it's crap. Because it's more of the same old, same old, I'm starting to get really bored of it already and it's only a few months in and I'm really starting to question the longevity of the game, with most people who aren't absolute die-hard COD fanboys migrating to Battlefield 4, and probably eventually to Titanfall as well and elsewhere.
Call of Duty Ghosts has too big a set of maps, and the community isn't helping being full of campers and try hards that slow the gameplay right down making it impossible to have fun and enjoy oneself without getting bogged down searching every nook and cranny for a camper. "Is that dark corner full of campers? No? Okay." People hiding from you like a child/pussy instead of facing you like a man/woman really pisses me off and it worsens the game even further. That, and the addition of try hards makes the game impossible to nail down. It's ridiculously tedious now and I no longer enjoy the experience I'm having on it anymore. I'm seriously going to lessen how much I play on it to virtually none when Titanfall comes out.
Hopefully Modern Warfare 4 and Black Ops III will be good... But I'm skipping out on COD Ghosts 2, and if Modern Warfare 4 is any worse, I'm skipping out on Modern Warfare 5 as well...
Also the campaign sucks. I like all of the Call of Duty campaigns a hell of a lot. Even Modern Warfare 3. But I hate this one. I prefer the Battlefield 4 campaign...

I played a few games during the free weekend, and I think it was alright. Not as fun as Blops IMO, but still a bit more fun than Blops 2 and leagues better than MW3.

1 ReplyI haven't played it. That series died for me after that cash grab MW3 came out. I've played Black Ops II and it's okay, I guess. CoD is nothing but a plauge on the industry now destroying any sense of originality or morality.

14 RepliesAll CoD campaigns since MW2 suck I believe the MM aspect has improved in the weapon and perk acquisition, as well as killstreaks and what they do over the course of time immensely. In fact, Ghosts is probably the most balanced out in what you can have and run of all of them so far. No more raining death from above with OP airstrikes, unless you REALLY work (camp) hard for them. I rarely see them now, unless of course it's my team raining death with Griffons and Helo's. But what broke Ghosts to me is that it went back to God-Mode-Host instead of instituting the lag compensation that was in the last 3-4 versions that made it more playable to a broader range of players. Now you know who has host and it is as apparent as it was in Halo. The guy going 30-5 is almost always it, and not because of 'skill', but from being so far ahead of what everybody else is seeing that he has a huge advantage in what and how he goes about things. But tonight we'll all see what broke Ghosts for good. I expect the population to dissolve. I even switched myself back over to my 360 last night to learn to play World of Tanks, for that is where all my other non-Titanfall friends that already stopped playing Ghosts are going to be for a while. But overall, I don't think Ghosts was all that bad. Aside from the Hosting backwardness it has, it was the best format for loadouts and prestiging so far. The other main problem is - it's just another CoD. I think we're all kinda worn out and tired of that.

6 RepliesI'm not exactly a die hard fan of the series, but I played their other titles and got into zombies pretty hard on the 360. I got the xbox one and battlefield 4. A week later we out and bought COD G and I wound up taking it back the next day. Everyone of their games is the same, even on next gen I couldn't get into it. So yeah it -blam!-ing sucks big time don't buy it. Go for battlefield multiplayer is awesome an never gets old
