A rumor has been floating around YouTube and these forums that TitanFall for the PC will be running on EA servers while the XBone and 360 editions will run off Microsoft's. Since EA has bad track record for game releases on their servers (ex: Sim City) it's given some PC players pause.
I googled the hell out of this but couldn't find any basis for the rumor. So I finally came across this:
All of Titanfall's servers across all platforms are on Microsoft's Azure platform
Sauce

Anything is better than the EA servers.

Will we have to use windows live? Or will it be sold, and played on Origin?

Praise MS

So it's developed by ex-CoD creators, is published by EA in a contract with those, runs on Valve's Source engine, and uses Microsoft's servers. Doesn't sound complicated at all.

Since EA has terrible servers like Simcity 5 and Battlefield 4 launch.
