Did you ever think that maybe the site is run the way it is, not because BS Angel so deems it that way, but because she is told from above her how it is to be run? I don't go to Waypoint, so I really don't know. But from all the hundreds of complaints about Waypoint here on B.net it makes me wonder why people go there at all. If they do not want to hear what the Halo population has to say, then griping about it here isn't going to help anymore than them not listening there.

Same way a public relations head for a company is responsible for their appearance. People might request a different approach to something, but whether or not that person has the power to change anything is only known within the company itself, and not publicly, but he is still taking responsibility. It's an extremely PC environment (in Halo politics terms at least), and many of them exhibit blatant fanboyism, which is simply the result of an environment that's run that way.

Ever since Activision has been involved, Bungie has been rather not 'Bungie-like'. They haven't been nearly as open, forthcoming, or 'one of the crew' with anything like they used to be. So I am making an assumption that the corporate entity is telling the social entity what it can and can not, will and will not talk about or allow to be talked about in both situations (Bungie and 343).
