On the back of the game boxes, they say what the games are rendered in. If it is rendered in 720p, the 1080p will just upscale it a bit. The dash, I think is just 1080p by default and adjusts to your settings.

Edited by AngryBrute: 2/22/2014 4:15:54 PMWell the 360 was much easier to develop for due to its architecture, the PS3 was extremely difficult, hence why most of their games are not rendered at 1080p, and mostly 720p. Its the opposite today with the Xbox One and PS4.

I assumed 1080p was the spangly 8th gen step up of even more pixels onscreen. Guess not.

360 games weren't 1080p... The highest they were was 720p.
