Well, the recruiter finally got back to me with the employment paperwork, which I'm currently filling out. So, I have my career being decided soon.

What are you going for?
-
Well, that's part of the process. I haven't tested for any yet. We have to break down my ASVAB score and see which jobs are available to me in which fields. Then, I test for the ones available.
-
ASVAB? I'm assuming this is some sort of defence recruitment for wherever you're from?
-
It's the military entrance exam. It's a battery test and each section is different. It tells the recruiter what fields you are strongest in. Your scores in the four fields(Electrical, Mechanical, Administrative, and I forgot the fourth one) determine which jobs are available.
-
Hmm ok. With ours, people apply for specific jobs and then do the test. If that job isn't available they might be offered something similar or wait until it is.

Certain jobs aren't available to you unless your score on the ASVAB is high enough, though. If the job field isn't open then I have to choose a different one.
