What I found most interesting is #50. I had predicted a while back that Bungie would incorporate MOBA elements into Destiny because of how hot MOBA games are right now. They not only revealed that you fill your super bar with kills, but it is hinted you pick up something when someone dies (Glimmer?), which most likely is the means by which one uses upgrades (kind of like "solar" in Awesomenauts). Interesting.
What I found most interesting is #50.
Thank you, this is one of many reasons I go through the effort to number any list I make these days, regardless of whether or not the numerical order has any meaning. I wouldn't neccessarily say that your super bar is only filled with kills, just that kills helps your Super to come online faster. In my mind it doesn't make sense to completely shut someone out of their super just because they're having trouble generating the X kills they need to unleash it. Everyone should be able to eventually use their super, regardless of how well they're doing, otherwise it's just a win-more mechanic than something that allows anyone to create good plays with. It's more MOBA inspired design, but what DeeJ might be talking about is a mechanic that shaves something like ten seconds off the cool down timer of your Super for every kill you get. Players that are doing well have quicker turn-arounds and feel awesome and rewarded as a result. Enemy players don't feel like suiciding on the enemy team or else they're going to get their asses kicked. But everyone eventually gets their Super to use. Makes much more sense to me when it's designed like that.
