This week's Bungie Podcast features Marty O'Donnell, Bungie's Audio Director and a truly grizzled ancient. We're emphasizing the grizzled part; he's a fountain of youth.

Uhh, could we please have that last "pre holiday" podcast we've been waiting an entire month for?
-
the mission soundtrack was done by ennio morricone, who IS famous for the themes to the spaghetti westerns done by Sergio Leone including once upon a time in the west, the good the bad and the ugly, and for a few dollars more.
-
Do anybody know where we could send our questions for the podcast?
-
Love the Podcast Please ensure that they continue regularly! Even if it's just a podcast about the trio's all-time favorite matches or something. Have a nice day.

Mmmm...Marty-y. I wonder if Marty will take Halo 2's ending to the grave with him. PS: bring back Dave!
-
owww I want to know what the next big thing from Bungie is......... Great podcast by the way, I’ve put the halo 3 soundtrack on my Christmas list! .... Could the next big thing be a return to the marathon universe? Or something entirely different
-
A pretty nice show this week, despite Brian's absence (That's blasphemy you speak of.). I thoroughly enjoyed Marty's talk of the lost ending of Halo 2. May the rioting commence. ;D

Bow down to the Elder!

Woo! Finally the long promised Marty-cast... Might as well retire the podcast now, there's no way it can get better than this!

OH YEAh THE THIRD NERD PAGE. Anyway, I think they probably want to see if anyone is even interested in the Halo 2 original ending. Of course we are x 7240740374037450357034573457450 But with the way he said they were always palnning a trilogy it made me think it would have originally ended with no fighting like Halo 3. He also said he could bring it with the real voices instead of just saying it which just him saying it would be -blam!- in place of the real voice actors. I take it they never did the cinematics from how he said it, but I would think they do the voice after the cinematics are done. Just thinking about it. Look I know he could have just meant they way Halo 2 was supposed to end, still with a better more fullfilling cliffhanger but I almost thought he meant the story arc cause he kind of fudged up the "well we were always gonna make it a trilogy" statement, making it sound like they decided that they would make it a trilogy when they saw they were running out of time. I just ordered my Halo 3 Soundtrack from Amazon. it shipped the same day. Free shipping over $25 so I also got the GOW soundtrack which, while not as good as Halo 3 still kicks. Love that prison breakout song. IYou never really get to hear it but if you go to Amazon check it out. Phat beat. [Edited on 12.13.2007 8:52 PM PST]
Posted by: oo myth oo Hey guys I like the political chatter, we should have some more of that. Especially a lot more with these conservatives that still back this administration. It's good to hear that there are people at Bungie that are conservatives and even more so people that say they are more conservative that Republicans, it is something I can relate with. Good job
I'd rather hear more about Bungie and those working for it, not their political views. I think NPR could satisfy that for you. [Edited on 12.13.2007 10:39 AM PST]

The nomenclature for carbonated beverages is definitely 'coke'...not 'soda', not 'pop' and certainly not 'soda pop.' So you may ask, "Is Pepsi, Coke?" the answer: "Yes."

I'm really starting to love the podcasts Bungie. I usually listen to them before I go to bed (not saying it's bringing forth sleep, haha) and I'm pretty stoked on them. Keep it up, please!

Well, I wish him the best in times of being bedridden.
