I've been joyously playing my Xbox One since Friday morning, and am very pleased. I would however, like to report some slight glitches I have had while using it.
1. When playing Battlefield 4, the game will sometimes just drop back to the dashboard and close itself (so no resume is available). It was slightly annoying when it happened at the end of the last mission of the campaign and I had to replay it (thank god it was short) but otherwise tolerable.
2. Slightly more serious...my Kinect stopped receiving voice commands. 100% just did not want to take them. So, I went into settings and found the option for the kinect not being able to hear me. Once I did that, the Xbox froze and I had to hit the button to turn it off. I turned it back on and it froze again since it decided to try and resume in the same spot afterwards. This forced me to do a hard reset (similar to a computer, just hold down the power button for a few seconds) and it cleared up the issue.
I will chalk these two problems to launch bugs, which should get discovered and dealt with now that there is such a large population of users. Overall still very, very pleased with my Xbox.
Also, something more Battlefield specific, I seem to lose XP after matches sometimes. I will rank up, be in the next round and not be ranked up anymore. I still get my unlocks from the previous round, but some of my XP seems to disappear.

BF4 does the same shit on PS4 so I definitely think its the game. Thanks EA/DICE......

I'm having major problems on current gen BF4 as well. My xbox 360 froze at least 6 times and I had to start from level 1 twice and had my saved data corrupted twice as well. I think it's just the game.

Thanks for Beta-Testing the Next-Gen consoles!

Wow, gotta love Microsoft. >makes you pay another 100 dollars for the kinect >doesn't even work properly

Edited by The S bot 9000: 11/24/2013 10:21:22 PMShould've picked the ps4, homo! OT: Buying a console on launch is bound to have some unsavory details. They'll probably fix it in a title update or something.

1 ReplyAs other people have said. #1 is most likely a problem with BF4. Especially sense TONS of people are having this problem with BF4.
-
1 ReplySeems Battlefield has a lot of problems so I'm not sure if that's the console or the game itself
-
1 ReplyI'm sorry, but number 1. isn't soething what is a "slight annoyance"
-
It's back out of BF4 sometimes for me as well

probably the only problem i've had with it is when i say "play game" it plays music, i don't know if thats the proper voice command or not. also if you pause Dead rising 3 after a while it will just go back into the game. i don't know if its because the menu can be voice commanded or something else, but go to the dashboard if you want to walk away while playing it.

1 ReplyEdited by Winters Darkseid: 11/24/2013 9:50:02 PMDude, report that shit to Microsoft, man. I haven't had any issues, so I hope none of that happens to me.

6 RepliesWhenever I have a problem with specific games or electronic devices that have nothing to do with Bungie or Destiny, I post on the appropriate forums.

whenever I have a problem I hold down the power button on the Xbox One for 10 seconds. it seems to be a fix all solution so far.

1 Reply#1 is a problem with BF4 not the OS on the X1.

2 RepliesI had a problem installing a game after taking it out partway through the install and had to hard reset the Xbox with the game inside for it to reinstall.
