Doubt it, I think that it will most likely be about the same, maybe worse, maybe not....I really doubt that it will experience a better launch though. Microsoft damaged a lot of trust with their original plans for the Xbox One and with how vague they were about everything, so that is going to hurt their sales somewhat, and every console also has its issues when it launches, so yeah, Xbox1 will most likely not have a better launch, it will probably be about just as bad as whatever the PS4 has had.

Edited by Gregory Marshall: 11/18/2013 12:07:29 PMI don't know. I feel as though Microsoft has alienated a lot of gamers with their mixed messaging and higher price. Then again, there are a lot of gamers who will naturally move to the Xbox One because the Xbox 360 created a more prominent community through Xbox Live, something I think a lot of people are over-looking. You're not going to move to a new platform that will isolate you from playing with your friends. It seems like a simple question but, the more I think about it the more difficult it is for me to answer. I'm thinking the Xbox One will still start off stronger than the PS4 but, I honestly believe that PS4 will over-take the Xbox One sooner than later.

2 RepliesIt's a possibility. I wonder if it can sell the 1 million units in 24 hours like the PS4. I guess we'll learn by the end of the week.

ITT either unrealistic hopes about Xbox one, or unrealistic opinions/"facts" (aka overhyped info about "failure" of PS4).

As long as there's no next-gen RRoD, then it'll be fine.

Yes because it's an xbox.

Looking at the amount of PS4's breaking all MS have to do is make sure the console doesn't break 2 days after release.
-
probably pretty much the same.

I'd expect pretty much the same really

Undoubtedly.

15 RepliesPS4's launch wasn't that bad all considered. If you think about the server problems, those will definitely happen to Xbox One because they have never undergone that much stressing. Also since the Ps4 had multiple Hard drives I would assume the xbox only having one type will make updating smoother. As for hardware problems I think the Xbone will fare better because SONY to make the Ps4 smaller reduced a ton of the space they could have used for system cooling where Xbox played it safe this time because of RRoD.
