Well, you have to give the IV's some credit. They are recruited from among the finest soldiers in the UNSC. That definitely puts them above the ODSTs and probably Buck's squad too considering their augmentations (which they do have, it's just not as extensive as the ones the IIIs and IV's got). Saying they're worse than average Marines is just being a douche.

No doubt Buck and his squad will return as Spartans in the future. Because why have characters we can relate to when you can slap magic armour on them?

That would actually make a lot of sense. They are among the sort of people that would be selected for the IV program. but yeah if might hurt the relatability some.

S-IV's better than marines because if energy shields. Can take more damage.
