They make Half-Life 3, Portal 3, Team Fortress 3, Left 4 Dead 3, and Dota 3 all exclusive to it.
With the Steam Box becoming a thing, don't even pretend Gaben isn't going to do this to try to get people to buy it.
Those would probably be on PC as well, but you'd have to get it on Steam or some shit who knows.

No way am i going to buy a whole console for Portal 3, no matter how great.

From my understanding, the Steam Box isnt exactly a console. Its more or less a pre-built PC with Steam's own OS installed on it of which you can install your own OS, if you so choose. I think their target audience are people who don't know much about or don't really care to build their own PC and would like to play PC games. I don't really think they're trying to sell it to people who already have a decent gaming rig.
