What are the MUST own xbox 360 games?
I have quite a few but I have a little cash to splash and want some new games. So, what are games you have played on 360 that I should buy?

Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2. Good stories however 13 was mostly linear (as in little exploring until the end). People argue over whether the characters are that good but the overall story of the games is. Final Fantasy 13-3 will be released this spring for x360. This is of course if your a jrpg fan. Square-Enix makes good games.

IMO... The games that people on average enjoyed the most or had the biggest impact on the console. (No order) I haven't even played the Bioshock games or GTA V... - Halo 3 - Red Dead Redemption - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Bioshock - Fallout 3 - GTA V - CoD 4 - Mass Effect 1+2 - Oblivion - Assassin's Creed 2 - GTA IV Honorable Mentions... (What I kind of wanted to throw in there...) - Dragon Age: Origins - Portal 2 - The Orange Box - Bioshock: Infinite - Dark Souls

GTA Halo series GoW series All Valve games Super Meat Boy Castle Crashers Mass Effect Series Minecraft I'm also on the lookout for Xbox 360 gems. Most of those I haven't played but are automatically recognized as must-haves.

Mass Effect series is a must, if you're into action-RPGs. If you don't have the patience for that, try Gears of War. Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood are the must-play games of that series. Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2 if you have friends to play with you. If not, the people who still play should be pretty friendly.

People are giving games they like, not cultural 'must play games' for the system. 'Must owns' would involve... let's see... Halo 3, Red Dead Redemption, CoD 4, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed II, Bioshock, Borderlands, Dead Space, Dishonored, Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Oblivion, Gears of War, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Going through a list of every Xbox 360 game courtesy of Wikipedia, I believe these to be the most culturally significant games on the system.
