That's stupid. What possible benefit do you gain from dressing a certain way ?
-
Good first impressions with people. If you dress well people are probably going to subsonciously think better of you. Appearance is important.
-
Only to subordinates.
-
I would think that the opposite would be more important. Say you're going to a job interview, they're not going to be impressed if you can't even dress yourself properly.

Replace properly with "well" and my point stands. You're right, there is no specific "proper" way to dress in general (although in certain situations there sure as hell is) but there is such thing as dressing well and dressing poorly.
-
Not quite. Dressing well could be considered dressing poorly in certain lines of work.
-
Then think of it as humans having the disadvantage of not having fur or some other means of retaining external heat so we don't freeze to death, so turning to clothing as a means to offset that. And looking good in the process.
-
I dress for function and comfort. Fashion is as relevant to me as celerity trivia. I see no point in worshipping brand names and rating them among other brands.
-
It's not always the brand names themselves, it's the quality they promise. Just look at Brioni; they undoubtedly make some of (if not THE) nicest suits in the world, and you would understand why if you felt it. The fabric is impeccable, and each article of clothing is made with remarkable specificity and intimacy, with some running through literally hundreds of skilled tailors in its process. It's very hard to understand unless you've seen the product for yourself, and learned to appreciate what it's been through to be made.

Once again, Pointless.
-
do you have fur, scales, or feathers covering your body. or do prefer to cover your self in mud
-
I prefer nothing when ever possible.
