The game was butchered after one of their updates.. That and buying gold has inflated item prices beyond reasonable. I'm on my second character by the way.

I can live with all of that, it just mean I'll have to play more often to get gold :)

There is no auction house in the console version. The only reason that it's still on the PC version is because they can't remove it. They're also going to be refining the loot system so that the auction house would be unnecessary anyway. Great game, I'm still playing it a year and a half after it came out.
