I want to see Luthor using a psychological approach against Superman. It's too cliche to just have him get kryptonite and then have Supes just overcome it anyway. Superman, in his lack of experience, directly caused the deaths of likely tens of thousands of people, and stuff like that is prime material for Luthor to use against him.
