This is great! I probably won't be maxing out my 2,000 friends list anytime soon, but lol, that's really cool to have the option!
-
I just read the bit about Sony upping their friends list to 2,000 friends, and The Verge saying that MS may have to change their policies again to 1 up Sony and it made me lol. "We'll let you have 1,000 friends! oh yea? WE'LL let you have 2,000! well WE'LL let you have 3,000! well you can watch TV on Xbox One! well on PS4, you don't need to pay to talk to your friends!" Both sides continue bidding for players, while the fanboys for both sides attack each other with fists, fingernails, and teeth.

What about to play online?
-
don't care, server lists.........serv- *breaks down in tears*
-
Awesome. I hate that you need Gold for it on Xbox.
-
PS4> Shitbox One
-
Little things like this... Who cares?!
-
One of the biggest reasons my xbox is down gathering dust in my basement is because it is practically useless without a gold subscription. I am sorry but you shouldnt need to to have a subscription to access netflix. One reason why I get more use out of my PS3. I am glad they carried it over.
-
I will say this once. Everyone who argues about shit like this are children.
-
+1 for People buying the PS4 +0 for people buying the Xbox. The people buying the PS4 like the features of the PS4 and the people buying the Xbox One like what it has. Your arguing to a brick wall, telling it how this new console has some new feature over the other that wont change anyone's minds.
-
Oh I like that $60 for online gaming only, totally worth paying for. I prefer the whole "You need to pay to use all of this" since it has some worth than the "You get EVERYTHING you need for free except this 1 thing which is why bought the console".
-
O lord, here comes the Companies fighting over consumers now "Xbox does" now Sony comes and says "Playstation does this" Now Microsoft will say "Xbox does this". And while people do this, fanboys will start more and more console war threads.
-
That's why I'm glad I'm going to buy a PS4. As well as an Xbox One.

Edited by Obsric: 7/29/2013 4:49:54 PMInteresting. Sony is doing such a good job with its messaging. Given the majority of people will want to play their games online, most people will still have to subscribe to PS+; yet by doing this, Sony comes out as the 'good guys'. (I wonder about the level of skepticism Microsoft would have attracted, had they announced a similar system). How many people are actually thinking about buying a new console and not subscribing to the payed service..?
-
Thats great, and I can play Planetside 2 without having to pay as well? Thats even better.
-
Da fuq, here I am a silver member on xbox live and I cant do shit.
-
Is anyone even going to fill a 2k friends list? Even 1k was a lot.
-
Edited by Hunter: 7/29/2013 4:39:13 PMOh, and PS+ is not required for every online game. Publishers decide if their game will use their own servers or PSN's.
-
+1 indeed. The thing now is that each console will be aiming to one-up each other, and it means the consumer is getting more for the same money. I'm still feeling the Xbox One over the PS4, but I am still interested and haven't swept it aside just yet.
-
The PS4 will not be good.
-
Server lists for Xbox One. +Infinite number
