Also, if you go to Hawaii, just go to Maui. The other islands (Especially where natives are heavily populated in) aren't very welcoming to people who look like outsiders. Basically, if you look F.O.B (Fresh off the Boat for Asians), or you don't look Asian at all, you're going to stick out like a sore thumb.

Only for that? I mean, I was thinking Honolulu because I have friends there, but I also have friends on Maui, so I guess all is good. Where ever I can get a job and surf, I'll be more than happy.

Honolulu is pretty much a college/business city, with their two universities both having a large amount of foreign exchange students and students who look nowhere near Hawaiian or Asian. But you'll more likely find $100,000 in a bag than find a job in Honolulu. Maui, my friend lives on that island currently, and from what he says, it's the "Howlie island", basically, an island where people who don't look Asian or Hawaiian are slightly more accepted than the other islands.

Well, I'm south american descent so I guess I wouldn't jump out as much as as whites or others. Plus I'm already a bodyboarder so except for those waves that are heavy in Hawai's notorious locals, I should fit in better than the regular people. I want to at least visit there at least once, but Australia is my biggest goal.
