You can't be both

I don't think you understand what above average means, as you seem to think that the only people that are above averagely intelligent are the geniuses of our society.
-
There were kids who had a higher GPA but cheated on tests/HW. Kids who would learn the test and forget everything on it a week later, ect. I would put in minimal effort and was able retain the stuff longer and get B's and A's on tests.
-
Still sounds pretty Average to me. or at least Slightly above. Again as i said B4 If you were Above Average you would be in AP Calculus at the 7th grade while writing a College essay for Harvard.
-
Above Average=/=Super Genius
-
Sure I can. During school I often know the answers to questions everybody else in my class is struggling with, but don't feel like raising my hand to answer them.
-
But your not Above Average. If you were Above Average you would be in AP Calculus at the 7th grade while writing a College essay for Harvard. Your case is Slightly above average at best if it's harder class or your class is just stupid
-
I like to think it's a little of both. See, I tend to be in lower classes not because I couldn't be in more advanced classes, but because I'm terrible at putting in the effort. If I tried harder I could definitely be in AP classes...but I don't want to try harder. So I don't.

Please elaborate. I scored a 29 on the ACT, but my GPA was only a 3.1 in highschool. I rate myself as above average, but lazy due to my GPA not reflecting my standardized test score.
-
Don't know jack shit about ACT because loleastcoast. But a 3.1 GPA is something i would rate you as Average. As your obviously don't have the will to get a higher one.
-
Maximum score on the ACT is 36. 3.1 is average, I agree. That is why I said above average, but lazy.
