I personally think that Zimmerman should've just served some time, then gotten released. -blam!- ups on both ends, IMO

  • What if Zimmerman didn't use the gun? Would have Trayvon killed him? I have seen the news of kid killing random hobos by beating them up. What if the hobo had a gun? Could have saved his life from those little shits.

I'm not supporting Trayvon, either. I thought he's just another one of those hoodrats that needed to be disciplined. Obviously not this drastically, because... well, he's dead. I seriously do not like hoodrats myself and I can see where Zimmerman was coming from, but at the same time, we're not sure if Zimmerman decided to directly resort to lethal force or if he even attempt to fend off his attacker with other means beforehand. He also disobeyed the police by pursuing Trayvon in the first place.

  • You can disobey the police anytime he wants to as long as it was legal. I don't see anything wrong with it.

  • Are you sure that pursuing an individual is of a citizen's legality rights? I'm pretty sure it's legal to pursue individuals fleeing a crime scene, but I don't think this accounts for it, TBH. Personally, I think more of the wrong was on Trayvon's behalf, but Zimmerman being completely innocent is a bit of an understatement, no?

  • Serve time for what crime? He was found not guilty.

Found not guilty. Could've served two years for firing his weapon. Then again, Florida state law of self defense is a little different from those of other states, I guess. If it was in another state, he should've definitely served 1-5 years. Although, he did disobey police orders for pursuing Trayvon.

  • What a fucking stupid law. Two years for discharging your weapon? In self defense? Florida is bordering on Texas-level stupid.
