Backwards Compatibility??

Now, obviously Microsoft has said that the Xbone will not feature any backwards compatibility. However, I had always thought that part of the reason for this was that games just worked differently on the One than the 360, i.e., you have to actually download the game to the HDD to play Ergo, now that Microsoft has changed that property of the One and games will play just like they do on the 360, would it not be conceivable to have backwards compatibility? Maybe not at launch, but with an update down the road, throw in an emulator? Or if not, I hereby formally petition someone with any skills to create an Indie/Arcade game for the Xbone marketplace that acts as an emulator.

 • The architecture of the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One are completely different. They'd literally have to put a 360 in the X1 so it would be backwards compatible i.e. the original PS3.
