The thing that made the Halo soundtracks so good was that each game had a melody that would pop up now and then that would ground the music in place. For example:
The Halo theme (obviously): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGptqrKa_ak (the monks)
Halo 3's piano line: http://youtu.be/MsiKUmyL_hY (2:04 right after cortana says "this is the way the world ends")
ODST's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJeicvtamyU (the saxophone(?) melody)
The sort of thing you can be like THAT'S THE GAME immediately after hearing it. I find a lot of games now a days (including Halo 4) have wonderfully orchestrated soundtracks but have now overarching theme and/or melody. Like sometimes Halo 4's soundtrack sounded like it was from a generic sci-fi movie (sorry 343i).
I just want to have just one distinct and recognizable melody for Destiny akin to what we hear in ever Halo's menu, something that no one will not recognize for the years to come. And if I'm wrong about not hearing it yet, someone wanna point it out to me?

Oh so you've heard all of the soundtrack and the main theme?
