Here is a simple thread asking what everyone thinks of the $100 price difference of the Xbox one and the PS4.
Please no flame wars. I just want a to see what people think.
Does the $100 price difference matter to you? Is it the deciding factor to you when choosing what console you plan to buy/have already bought?

Edited by Al-B-Querky: 6/30/2013 2:07:05 AMEh, not really. You're already making a conscious decision on whether you should buy something expensive or decide to save that money for something else. You either go through with it or you don't. Like in the case of the Xbox One and PS4, people aren't going to buy the PS4 JUST because it's cheaper but because they actually want a PS4. Same for the Xbox One.
-
No because you will be spending 100 dollars for the accessories for the PS4 anyways.
-
Yes, any money I save is more money to spend on other more important things, like my mortgage, my car, taxes, ect. and the $10 difference on the yearly fee is nice as well.
-
No, because buying a game console for me represents an investment over the next half a decade or more. $100 over something like 7 years is $14 a year - which is really sort of nothing. I'll buy a console which I think is more appropriate for me, not because it's a bit more expensive.
-
It's not a deciding factor, but it's important. I don't throw away money when I don't have to.
-
$100 is insignificant compared to how much we all spend on subscriptions, DLC and games.

Edited by RogueSPARTAN264: 6/29/2013 7:49:28 PMIf you buy a PS4 you will have to buy a playstation camera and that is $60 so in realty the Xbox One is only $40 more expansive. And paying 40 dollars for TV and the abilty to record any thing strait on to the Xbox is worth it.
-
Of course $100 matters to me. I'm not made of money.
-
For a console which I'll own for years to come, no. Especially if I'm going to be forking over more than $400 anyways.
-
In the long run? No. In the short run? Yes.
-
The $100 combined with a better launch lineup (and from experience a better lineup down the road) eased the PS4 ahead of the Xbox One for me. While I'm not a hundred percent sure of this, I believe PS Plus is only $50 a year, while Xbox is $60. $10 isn't a big deal though.
-
Never.
-
It definitely seals the deal. That's two years of PS+.
-
While I would have bought the PS4 regardless it definitely seals the deal. That extra hundred dollars certainly is important. Especially considering this time around the cheaper product is the most powerful product.
-
Not really all that matter is which one carters to my needs more.
-
Naw it's worth it for the Kinect 2! :D
-
Its not the deciding factor, but saving the $100 is nice. Means I can put it towards either PS+ or a game.
-
Not really. The $100 price difference (in my opinion) shouldn't matter to gamers unless they're strapped for cash.
