Trading Weapons and Armor With Other Players?
Im curious to see if you will be able to trade weapons and armor with other players comparable to Borderlands, hopefully this is the case. Whats your opinion? Do you think you will be able to?

3 RepliesThere's no real way to gauge and regulate if open trade between two players is allowed. There would always be incidents where one of the traders get a bad deal or friends would boost each other with powerful weapons. Also, there would probably be a rise in dungeon-hoggers, where groups hoard out high-level bosses or low level enemies to farm armor and guns out for the sole purpose of using them in trade or for money. I'm all for it as long as it's somehow regulated and handles those problems well

No, then it'll be Low lvl people with lvl 9001 armor and weapons. And look how Diablo 3 is. Then there will be players charging other players for loot.

3 Repliesand since there is confirmed weapon crafting maybe players will buy other players weapons due to good craftsmanship :D

3 RepliesOnly if the value of the two weapons are equal. It would make the game unnecessarily easy if a low level could trade is starter equipment for a max level's spare equipment.

I think weapons will be your trophies of accomplishment. They are yours especially since you rank them up and personalize them. I don't think they are tradeable.

Bungie has been pretty quiet when it comes to this. They have said that there is a TON of weapons, more than any other bungie game. It would make sense then to be able to sell these weapons. I think we will be able to sell them to other characters.
