I finished Journey the other day, I was brought to tears during Gameplay. This is a beautiful game, the atmosphere, the environments, the soundtrack. Everything was absolutely emotionally driven.
Towards the end, when you at empowering through the snow, trying to stay warm was intense. I was with another player, and when we reached the spot with all the grave markers(?), my buddy fell, and I was shortly after. Only to burst from death, and climb to the summit, and we walked into the end together.
Nothing has ever been so simple, yet so wondrous.

The soundtrack is amazing, but unfortunately I haven't been able to play it since I don't own a PS3.

OMG a game where you press a few buttons and see pretty stuff!!!! Get gud
-
Is it a "Game"? Or is it more a story which requires you to press a few buttons to progress.

Wait till you have someone draw a heart in the snow around you, at the top of that mountain. It's... Ughh, nffff

I have yet to play the full game, but definitely plan to. I'm gonna get it and Flower. Loved both demos. Did you ever run into another player, and how would you describe the experience if you did?

For some reason Journey reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus in being more of art than a simple game. When I pick up a PS4 it's one of the games I'm most definitely going to play.

more beautiful than yo mama!!!

Absolutely. One of my all time favorite games. Too bad it's so short...
-
You were brought to tears? Lol man up.

Even though the game was short and simple it managed to cross the line from entertainment to an artistic masterpiece. No game has ever had such an emotional impact on me or made me reconsider whether there might actually be something inherently good in human nature.

My favourite game of all time. It's short, about 2 hours on average, but they were the best 2 hours I've spent when gaming. The environments, the music, the atmosphere (the way that they're able to make you feel like you're underwater when you're not through the ambience)... just everything about the game is bang-on perfect. Austin Wintory is one of the best composers I've ever heard, I can listen to Journey's soundtrack whenever I want and feel like I've been swept back into that incredible world. I'm jealous. I'm an Xbox owner and I can't play Journey.
