Over his shoulder, coming out of the armor it looks like black feathers to me. Perhaps [i]Crow[/i] feathers. Thoughts?

Yes! That was one of the things that got me thinking at first, most of the fur we've seen on armor is like a cowl or hood type deal, his shredded cloak sleeves(?) kind of hint at feathers and wings. Thanks by the way.
