The PS4 would cost $500 dollars with the full bundle, but to cut the cost, they pulled the Eye...
Why charge extra for something that isn't needed? It's just an unneeded extra that jacks up the price. The only things the system needs is the console, controller and a cheap headset.
plus $5 dollars a month for PSN Plus, aka Xbox Live Gold.
Except PS Plus was having those free game benefits before MS started doing them.
Showing three exclusives and ten other games that are also coming out on the X1, but just said, coming out for PS4. (Meaning it will come out for PS4 and not only PS4). 100 something games coming out for PS4 does not mean exclusive because 96 of those will also come out for X1.
And MS did the same thing. -Battlefront is a multiplayform game. -Battlefield 4 is a multiplayform game. -Call of Duty Ghost is a is a multiplayform game. -Dead Rising 3 might be a multiplayform game.
None backwards compatible too.
And the Xbox One isn't either so why bring that up?
So why is this such a big issue?
-If you go to a trip somewhere that doesn't have the internet the console is useless. Even if the place does have the internet, but no wifi and you don't have a ethernet cable. The console is useless. -If your internet is down for more than 24 hours your console is useless. -If your internet is down for more than 24 hours your console is useless. -Once the console is down being supported and the Live for it gets shutdown the console is useless.
And you can still lend games to friends, but in a different way. When you install the game into your hard drive, it's added to your digital game library.. Which you can share with up to 10 people. Meaning you can have various people playing your game through the internet, while you're playing it. And you won't have to physically give them the game to play.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to share a game with a friend they have to be on your friends list for 30 days. With the PS4 it's just one easy step.

  • I brought those up because those are what people are using to gain leverage over the Xbox One where they actually don't

  • You are a ******* ******, without the kinect, we won't have the greater convenience we do with the default console. The kinect offers easy convenience, to go and do whatever you want, when you want, in a flash, without even having to use a controller or your hand.

  • Actually, Dead Rising 3 is an Xbox One exclusive; so I suggest you take that off your list. Proof.

  •
will launch exclusively on Xbox One this holiday.
The problem is that it says launch. It might just be a timed exclusive.

  • If you're going on a trip somewhere leave your -blam!-ing console home. Shit, why would I wanna take my console to somewhere I haven't been when I can explore the new area. If I were to take a trip to New York I'd be walking the streets, taking in the sights and sounds, not be sitting in my hotel room all damn day worrying about my Internet connectivity. All I see is a bunch of "gamers" with ridiculous demands/ludicrous, outlandish examples of why a console won't work. Just buy it for the games. Remember those things we like to play? Yeah those are fun aren't they? Now shut up and stop being a -blam!-

  • And if you're not doing anything around the area it doesn't hurt to bring it with you for something to do.
with ridiculous demands/ludicrous, outlandish examples of why a console won't work.
How is having a console that you can play offline with ridiculous and ludicrous? Besides the Live one those "outlandish" examples are real scenarios for some people. They don't have a stable internet connection or have access to the internet.
Now shut up and stop being a -blam!-
It kinda defeats the whole point of telling me to stop being a -blam!-, when you're the one being a -blam!-.

  • "What if I go away on a trip" "What if I don't have Internet" "What if (x) and (x)" If it doesn't suit you, don't buy it. Don't be whining and complaining and trying to influence somebody else's consumer opinion. My preference is to explore areas I go to when I take trips, so there is no downtime. If you don't have an Internet connection or don't want to connect once a day for maybe a minute or two so the cloud can connect with the console or whatever the system will be like, either get a better Internet connection, or buy a PS4. "Well money's tight I can't afford an Internet blah blah" tough peanuts, we're all feeling the recession unless you're the 1%.

  • Are you stupid? Microsoft showed a minimum of multiplatform games.

  • Calm down there Xbot there's no need for pointless name calling. How about I let you borrow one of my Xbox One games....Oh wait never mind you're not on my friends list, but I can add you....Oh wait you have to be on it for 30 days.

  • I highly doubt your going to give someone you just met your game. If you actually know them they would have been on your friends list for 30 days. So you can shutup about that crap.

My friend just gets the Xbox One and he doesn't have any games for it besides the ones that came with the system. To be nice I let him borrow some of my game until he gets his own. The only problem is that he's not on my friends list. So by the time the 30 days is up that nice juster I was going to do would be pointless. Meanwhile with my friend that just got the PS4 I just have to do one easy step.
