My question is why does the traveler look so far out in that picture? Isn't it supposed to be literally hovering over the city? If so, why isn't it in-game?

  • If you look closely you can see that it is hovering over the city. That picture is probably from the way outskirts of the city.

  • At the same time though, all the concept art I saw made it look like the traveler was large enough to have the ENTIRE last city underneath it. If the city was built under the traveler for the sake of protection, why build a portion that looks like it's very important to the city somewhere away from being underneath it?

  • Remember its concept art. You can see scenery (In gameplay) showing that the city is much larger than it seems now, as there's abandoned outskirts as well as other cities on Earth (Chicago, Mumbai, etc.).
