Doesn't the fact that Warlocks are described as having long been studying the traveler imply that humanity is actively researching it? Hell, warlocks can even use it's "magic" frequently.

i dont really know if the can directly channel its power. it says they've mastered some of its powers. which kind of makes me believe that they have some how copied some of the travelers powers. but thats just me
