So if EA hold the right to Star Wars games
Does this mean we will see Battlefront 3 and KotOR 3? EA is usually unoriginal, has BioWare inhouse and could let DICE make BF3. Your thoughts on if one or both of the games will happen?

It's highly unlikely they are going to make KoTOR 3. Mainly because of SWTOR. Unless you play as someone other than Revan it's pretty much established what happened to him.

If EA doesn't release BF3 within 3 years then they failed as a business. Its an IP that is almost guaranteed to sell well, especially if someone like DICE makes it.

so long as EA keep their big nose out of the development and concentrate on publishing the darn things then i think this could be a step in the right direction. some of my favourite games were published by EA.

3 RepliesI have no idea, but they did say that future Star Wars games would be running on the Frostbite 3 engine. MY GOD! Can you imagine a Star Wars game on the Frostbite engine with the sound quality of the Battlefield games? Every time I think about it, I start to feel like I'm gonna pass out.
