Will destiny provide favor text on armor and weapons based on rarity? For example.
Common= white
Uncommon= green
Rare= blue
Purple= epic
Orange= legendary
Red= relic
Also will they use ilvls to divide stat budgets?

Edited by Apotheosis: 5/14/2013 12:31:23 PMI'm guessing from the recent warlock pic that gun color will be customizable. There was a very similar gun in the reveal trailer of a different color. Edit: I'm an idiot. You meant the text color.

1 ReplyThe short answer is; we don't know. What's ilvls?

I hope so, but I'd like to see a different colour coding and nomenclature rather than emulating the the ones already established by currently popular MMOs.

not sure I care about weapon name colour really so long as we can colour the weapons to suit our taste, e.g. green/brown camo...tiger striped black and orange.... bright pink...... with flowers.... (honestly I would never use pink or flowers, just trying to say I would like lots of customisation)

1 ReplyEpic, Legendary, and Relic are strange colors.

I want a strange sword and an unusual hat

Not quite where I thought you were going with this one. Thought you were going to ask in relation to multiplayer. I don't know if I'd be a big fan of a fixed color for rarity. Maybe initially to quickly to indentify value right after it dropped but it being permanent I think would limit the aesthetic qualities too much.

Speaking of colours, it would be awesome if we could paint our armors. OT though I don't know if they would do colours, but possibly they shall do just simple stat comparisons.

I think there will be rarities to guns, but I would prefer them to atleast use a different color coding than BL2.
