Just wondering.... im starting to get this lag and i have alot of saves so i was wondering if i should delete them

Nope. Save files aren't actually very big. It's just a list of variables telling the system where you are, what your skills are, what gear you've got, etc.

It was definitely a problem with the PS3 where if you played for long enough you got crippling lag because your save files got too large. I'm no expert on exactly what causes the problems because lolskyrim, but that's just what I heard.

Edited by Braydzz: 4/27/2013 3:42:31 AMI don't think so.. It wouldn't so much be the saves its more so the available space on the drive so you can delete your other things if you wish but I don't think drive space is an issue I think you can just clear the hard drives cache and it will be all good.

4 RepliesI'd imagine(because I know nothing technical) with console's limited resources too many saves could lag it up. What I have heard is if you have too many saves it may corrupt your data. I always kept mine below 5 saves per character so I have no clue how many you would need to get to that point.

2 Repliesdon't think so. If on pc there is a save game utility that can swap out different saves for different characters seamlessly.
