Bethesda said they're going to move on but going make more noise this year. Could we possibly see Fallout 4 this E3?
-
Hopefully that means that they're done with making DLC and are just waiting to release it. Dragonborn was good, IMO, but I disliked Dawnguard, too linear and short. Hearthfire was okay, but I wouldn't count it as a big DLC, just a tiny add-on.
-
they said they are finished with content, not releasing the content
-
I'm just going to leave Bethesda's post here.
-
I thought they were planning on making 4 big DLC's?
-
Well that's unfortunate. Hines said that the DLC released for Skyrim added up to the 5 DLCs from F3 in terms of playtime. I don't agree with that at all. Hearthfire was nice, but it only took a few hours to set up my house. Dawnguard was very linear and was easy to finish in under 6 hours. Dragonborn was a great DLC and big, but even that can't carry the weight of all the lost time played without upcoming DLCs. Well, here's to F4!
-
Kinda sad, they only released like one good DLC. Mods are great though.

Edited by xImNotProx: 4/16/2013 4:19:16 PMWhere are the Bethesda fanboys? I'm waiting for them to defend Bethesda for only releasing one large DLC. It really doesn't matter anyway. Modders do a better job than Bethesda when it comes to downloadable content.
-
Too bad, but that's just how it goes for video games.
-
i would like too have a DLC that give a new war that comes no matter what side you picked during the main game. It would be cool to be able to fight in a second great war, since bethesda was hinting at it in skyrim anyway.
-
Disappointed, but not angered. Looking forward to hearing about their next game.
-
I would love to see a new fallout. I always thought that elder scrolls was just okay but I always preferred the more diverse combat of the fallout games over just sword fighting everything you see. Before anyone says "but there's multiple combat styles" you have to specialize in one or be meh at two unless you want to never play any other game. I still think fallout did better because it has about as many kinds of melee weapons as Skyrim but they have an actual diversity in the projectile and explosives etc. I also think that the setting and themes are a ton better.
-
Not gonna lie, I never really got into the whole Fallout series. Tried playing Fallout 3 and I just couldn't get into it. Here's hoping for TES6.
-
I really liked playing Skyrim but I do think it's a shame it only got two major DLC expansions (Hearthfire doesn't count). Especially how many expansions recent Bethesda games like New Vegas received.
-
I need me some fallout.
-
Kinda sucks. Oblivion's DLC was much better.
-
Good, more time for the next Elder Scrolls.
-
Still waiting for them to fix the game.
-
Damn, I was honestly disappointed with all the DLC for Skyrim.
-
That is a real shame..... I honestly thought they'd have another DLC with the Thalmor. Oh well. Fallout 4 is worth the sacrifice.
-
I'd rather have more Skyrim DLC, but Fallout 4 is a good tradeoff.
-
Assholes

-
Well that sucks. Before they said they were going to make another large DLC and a couple more smaller ones like Hearthfire.
-
Edited by Swim Good: 4/15/2013 9:56:55 PMIt'll suck if there's no more DLC for Skyrim. Not only was there a fair amount of buzz over Redguard (didn't Bethesda even trademark the name?) but it feels like there's been barely any DLC compared to Oblivion. Fallout 4 should be good though...
