Has anyone actually had any luck with this? I downloaded the app and signed in via fb, then logged in again later using my xbox ID trying to link them and now I can't unlink or link either of them.
Any help would be awesome.
It sounds as if you have inadvertently created 2 Bungie accounts. In order to merge your desired non-Bungie accounts and link them to a single Bungie account, you are going to need to pick which one you are going to keep and which one you plan on "walking away from".
Then....
1) determine which login methods you currently have
2) determine which ones you wish to keep for your new profile
3) Create a "dummy" or disposable login method (preferably of a type that you don't have linked to your current profile)
4) Link that "dummy" login method to the current account that you intend to walk away from.
5) Unlink the logins/accounts that you plan on keeping/using with your new profile.
6) Make sure that the account you are "walking away from" only has your new and disposable "dummy" account linked.
7) Use your new Bungie.Net account (with the proper linked methods that you want) and ignore the old Bungie.Net account & the disposable login that you created for this process.
