I just became really sad

Most people who know me will tell you that I don't show emotion or at least sadness. I tend to bottle it up, I can't even remember the last time I cried. Now I am a Junior in high school and I got my report card to day. My mom was looking at it and started to cry, not because of my grades, but because I have 18 of the 24 credits I need to graduate. When I first started high school Senior year felt so far away, choosing a college seemed like a life time. I remember when I was a Sophomore, my Junior friends got these crowns to decorate and wear the day the seniors left the school. I was like "damn, I've got so long to go before I get to wear the crown." now were less than 4 weeks away. This wasn't what made me sad though. I was going through IMDB and I stumbled upon this. This is easily my favorite movie from my childhood. Then I started looking at all the other kids movies that I loved and I realized that those days are gone and in less than a year I will be on my own at college. I've been so obsessed with growing up that I haven't taken the time to really cherish all those memories. Sorry, I know this was a long read, but I just realized my childhood is essentially over. I didn't think it would effect me like this.
