North Korea is Israel's scapegoat

You haven't all forgotten about Iran have you? There is a "red line" they are going to pass with their nuclear technological advancements, that both the US and Israel have agreed to use military force to stop. This is a distraction technique used a lot throughout history, both national and international. In this case, North Korea is distracting the international community while the US and Israel prepare for an attack on Iran, and possibly anything that might follow. Hopefully both of these situations don't fall to their worst case scenario (war, possibly nuclear war), because everyone should know that the United States really just can't afford another war. And I'd bet the public is tired of hearing about too. Anyways, this is mostly a reminder that there will be something boiling over in Iran any time now until the end of the year.

However, I'm starting to think that this is nothing more than a political ploy to try and scare Iran. We just got out of two wars, and we're not looking for a third. It would be suicidal, resulting in an untimely death for our economy. Israel doesn't have the military capacity to strike Iran, that's why they're relying on us. If we refuse to initiate conflict, Israel won't be able to do anything about Tehran's program.
This is a distraction technique used a lot throughout history, both national and international. Given the fact that we'd need a great deal of assets to conduct the attack (primarily defensive and logistical units), someone would catch on eventually, even if our eyes are turned towards North Korea. • This makes no sense at all, Dustin. You should be ashamed.

        • Makes sense. North Korea's always been very willing to cooperate with American plans, after all.

North Korea is crazy. Anyone in the US should not be worried about being attacked by them. Personally I don't see them doing anything, but the people we should be worried for are South Korea and Japan. As for Iran... let's hope things don't go south. Then again, when you think about it, it's not very fair that our foreign policy is "only we can have nukes because we're America and you're not". At least in this case we're trying to keep them out of the hands of a mad man. I would suggest diplomacy and niceness work better than force and covertly starting insurrection. But at this point, I'm just preaching to the choir.

            • Well, Iran's a much bigger threat than NK anyway.
