Wow, I never thought this would be such a debated topic.
Seems like from the Batman "evidence" he is almost a god, comic book fiction is too far out sometimes. IMO.

Dodging bullets and being better than a SPARTAN is not a God, contrary to fanboy belief. There are plenty of opponents that could defeat Batman without prep time. MC just isn't one of them.

It was never meant to be believable and realistic in the first place. The whole point in comic books is for the reader to escape reality. Seriously, will you guys ever wrap your heads around this?
-
I dig and understand the different reality of comic books and the reason to read them (I was always a fan of Bloodlines), however the fervor that people have when defending Batman is crazy sometimes. So if we based our Vs. thread in more grounded reality would Batman still have such skills against MC?
-
If we confine real life limitations on Batman, we also have to be fair to the other opponent, so there isn't a double standard. So if Batman is grounded in reality, so is Master Chief. Either way, Batman probably still wins.
-
I mean like if we took Batman from Arkham Asylum and Chief from Halo 4 in placed them in the video game reality would Bats still have an "advantage"?
-
Well, according to Arkham canon he possesses a device that can disarm weapons, so that's half of Chief's armament already thrown out the window. Honestly? Probably still Batman. He can take down thugs high on Titan, and spar with Clayface and Solomon Grundy. That's sufficient enough evidence right there.

Almost a God? Compared to most DC characters? No
