I am curious as to what rating will Bungie be shooting for with Destiny. Will it be that meager Mature rating? Or are they going to dial back a bit and go for a Teen?
-
Bungie = Mature rated games. What memorable great game have you played that was teen rated?
-
They are aiming for teen Google is your friend sir
-
I think Teen. And I think that's better anyway. They get more players.
-
I'd like an m rating but probably be teen and labeled "fantasy violence"
-
Its going to be rated t. Look at the bottom right corner of this pic http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductScreenshots.aspx?image=2&Product_ID=115475
-
From the footage we've seen, theres nothing m rated in it, besides the vex exploding in to white goo
-
If call of duty is a 16 I'm sure Destiny will be

Edited by CPT Rhino: 5/2/2014 3:47:19 PMI don't think there aiming for a rating. There probably aiming to make a good game whatever the rating is, it won't matter. And don't give me this bigger market crap either there are parents buying GTA V for there 8 year olds every day. DeeJ commented below... There not aiming for a rating.

It says in the trailers it's anticipated to be Mature, but I'd rather it be Teen.
-
We all know will be pg-13 for the kids love to see a rated M tho
-
Mature
-
im betting mature just because violence and there will be language but no big deal really
-
Hopefully mature. Just go all out don't hold back.
-
Who cares ? The game is going to be amazinfv
-
What we'll do is make a game that we want to play. We're not as deliberate as your theory suggests.
-
Just double checking, teen is the equivalent to a 16 and mature is the same as an 18?
-
Most likely mature
-
It already is M
-
Its Mature rating.
-
They won't aim for any rating, they'll just create destiny how they want it, and let the ESRB handle it. "We create the game that we want to play," is something I heard Bungie say.
-
I hope it's T to bring more people to the game. So far the gameplay hasn't been real violent which is just fine with me.
-
I hope that there's no blood and gore (like Mortal Kombat which is a sick/disgusting game in my opinion) in Destiny, and that they make it closer to their Halo ratings.
-
I'd like slightly more gore/blood that Halo.
-
M, watch some of the vids.
-
Almost in all trailers it says "This game is anticipated to be rated mature" I know that they wanted to make it T but I just don't see that happening.
-
Bungie is a talented company, they don't need to depend on strong violence or language to make a good game.
