It is considered cheating by Bungie and XBL, and it violates your gamertag agreement with XBL through their TOU/COC. You CAN be banned for using glitches, but it is left up to the feedback system via the XBL UI. If people don't feel like leaving you cheating feedback for it, you cannot be banned since Bungie cannot auto-detect for it like modding or standby and use the "banhammer". Final words: It is cheating and you can be banned for it...the chances of being banned are however negotiable. ~B.B.
