We banned a member of our group for test purposes. It kicked him out of the group entirely and now won't let him rejoin. Also not showing up under banned users.
Edit: We now believe it was because he was in more than 10 groups. Temporarily banning him kicked him out and now he can't rejoin.

This is confirmed. I'm back in after I left the proper number of groups. Interesting bug though. It was actually funny in a way!

Well, a three minute ban shouldn't kick someone out of a group. For readers not in this particular group, I offered to be banned so our group admins could get used to the new format. This three minute ban kicked me out of said group. I am thinking it might have been due to me being a member of 16 groups. Many of which I was a member just to show support, yet I was inactive in. So leaving them was no big deal. Perhaps we should try to make this bug happen again now that I am under the limit of group memberships? I get what you are saying Hal :-)
