No disrespect to Staten, but what happened to Nylund? Was he ditched or did he turn down another Halo book deal? I really enjoyed Eric's execution of bringing the Halo universe to print. He did an absolutely excellent job in writing 3 of the 4 previous books, and I hope that he isn't finished. This isn't to say, however, that Staten won't be up to par because I believe he can and will do a good job. It's just we have nothing to compare to Eric's books, and this will be his first novel... We'll just have to see, though... Cheers.
