Nothing is a coincidence.[/quote] The "Rumble" shakes my controller and therefore disturbs my ever-steady hand that is constantly moving a tiny circle over your ducking, jumping, and strafing head while pulling the trigger. Turning the Rumble function off enables smoother, undisturbed aiming. And with lightening fast reflexes, insticts of a hawk, quickness of a cat, stealthiness of a ninja, 5.1 surround, and rear speakers 4" away from my ears, I can identify when I'm being attacked, and where my assailant is pretty well.
