I don't know...I've been through depression before and eventually have gotten out of it, but I can't shake this off. I've had it for months...My grades are caving in, (don't get me wrong, I study and turn my homework in, I just can't concetrate on the tests thus making bad grades on them) I have family problems, and my friends never take me seriously. Has anybody ever gone through something similar, and gotten out of it? If so, I'd be grateful for any advice.
Oh, and I'm not going to see a shrink, so don't suggest that.

Just try and hang out with some different people. They will make you feel better, I was going through the same thing, fell into a crowd of drinking and more, and the people I hang with now don't make me feel that way anymore. (although you didn't specify your age) Go out and do something different. Do something that will change the way you look at life, volunteer for the homeless, read to children, get out there, a sense of self-satisfation can be found inside or through helping others, you just have to find which works best for you.
