It's good for finding info on everything under the sun (the English version alone has over half a million articles), especially really obscure stuff you can't normally find in an enyclopedia. Using the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Randompage]Random Page button[/url] I've found in-depth articles on everything from [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal]fractals[/url] to [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_fries]french fries[/url] to [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumb_twiddling]thumb twiddling[/url]. It even has articles on [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Mombasa,_East_African_Protectorate]New Mombasa[/url] and [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flood_(Halo)]the Flood[/url]. It's really cool, check it out, even edit it a little if you want. And if you feel compelled to write nonsense, just head over to Wikipedia's evil twin, [b][url=http://www.uncyclopedia.org]Uncyclopedia[/url][/b]. It's almost exactly the same, but people are encouraged to write funny, made-up articles, in the style of Wikipedia. Check out the entries for [url=http://www.uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Air_Guitar]air guitar[/url] and [url=http://www.uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Seven_Deadly_Sins]the Seven Deadly Sins[/url]. Funny stuff. The site is relatively new (only a few thousand articles) so feel free to contribute.
