Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS3?

Seeing aries again made me feel weird, but anywho, theres alot of speculation. Alot. Seein how this is only a Technical Demo for the PS3. Square Enix might be able to use this to sony's adantage. Meybe retaliation to Gates threat to release Halo2 with PS3.
Square-Enix did not say anything, this is just speculation. Altho if they do, Im bought for life.
Its also been announced that Final Fantasy XI will be released for the Xbox360 and XboxLive.

That video was shown as a technical demo to show of the bulk of the PS3. Final Fantasy VII as we know it will not be remade... End of story regarding that subject. As for speculation between which system may reign supreme; I'm putting my money on Xbox 360 first off. It may have been underestimated...
