I remember a classic game that was on the Amiga. 'Cannon Fodder' it was called. You moved a little squad of soldiers about and shot things. I've managed to find it, and it's as fun and funny as i remember.
Find it here if you are interested in playing it.
Controls:
Left control- move squad (also the enter button when accesing load/save)
Space bar- fire
Up/down/left/right- move cursor
Return-Start mission, and while in mission it enters/exits the side panel with the cursor (in side panel you can access a map, split your squad into two, and switch between grenades and bazookas)
Fire grenade/bazooka- press left CTRL while firing
Grenades and bazookas are found as little crates or cylinders that you walk over. You'll need these explosives to destroy enemy buildings.
If you remember this game, I highly reccomend you grab a copy, it's like being seven again. Ah, happy days.......

oh yes, i remember. i remember this video (i can't remember whether or not it was the opening or a hidden feature or whatever) where some people dressed up as WW2 soldiers and started chasing each other around with toy guns whilst the song 'war has never been so much fun' (if that's what it was called) was playing. back then it was really funny, and i'd probably still laugh at it now. oh, the game was good too, but i got stuck at a certain point. wonder if i could do it now...
