Let's make a new universe.

I thought it would brighten up the place up a little more if we did a little activity. So let's step into Bungie's collective shoes. Let's say you're a fellow developer at Bungie, and you've got this great idea for a new game, what is it?
1: What is the genre?
FPS? RTS? Open world RPG? How do you want your players to expeirence your new universe?
2: What platform is it on?
Xbox? PS3? PC? Multi-Platform? Witch one, and why? On to the story...
3: What's the setting?
Be it modern day, the future, the past, or somewhere new. Where, and when, does all this take place?
4: Who is your main character?
Pick anyone, a user, an employee, or a famous person. Who will be the hero of your epic tale?
5: Who is the villian?
Easy enough, who will you hero fight?
6: What's the story?
How does all this fit together? Why are your hero and your villians fighting? Give a brief summary of the events that unfold.
7: Extra credit.
What else would you like to add to this new universe? A new game mode? An easter egg? Something new that you would want in here.
8: Multiplayer
Is there any? If so, what are the playlists? What do the players do?
9: How successful is it?
How good does your game sell? You've just sent a whole new universe to the consumers, how does that turn out? Hope you all enjoyed this thread. Just a little something to help light our way. -Shadow

 • 1. Space MMORPG3PS. About 10 open-world planets all about the size of the Moon, fully decked out in terrain and cities. 2. Cross-platform. Xbox players, PS3 players, Wii players, and PC Players all play in the same space next to, with, and against each other simultaneously. 3. Future. First installation takes place over 2116-2119. It all takes place in real-time, and players' in-game actions affect the Universe at large. Key events are instigated and spurred on by the developer at certain times, but overall the majority of the events in the game (Wars, planets being taken over, politics, trade, etc.) are done in real time and by the players. 4. You; the player. Customizable to the enth degree. 5. Changes all the time. Say Faction A is fine with Faction B until Faction B starts to invade a Faction C planet, where Faction C is allied with Faction A. Faction A is no longer okay with Faction B and might go to war with them or stop trading with them. 6. Constantly changing based on trade conditions, your chosen role in the galactic community, war, etc. 7. iPhone app that allows you to customize your players armor on the go. Actually changes it in-game. Web app that acts as an auction house of sorts where people can buy and sell armor, guns, and items with one another outside the game itself. That kind of mixing of the game with outside elements is something I've been looking for in gaming for a long, long time. 8. All the tiem. 9. Very. I made it, after all. ©
