Man, having a living species on HALO would have messed up alot of the "deep" story line ( know what I mean?) If you read some of the stuff on like "Halo's Story" and stuff on the old bungie.net you would know what I mean. Dunno if the link still in the new bungie.net or not. Makes me wonder if we just think to hard and deep into the story and if the makers didn't even mean for it to be that deep.
